Focus area

Why one department is named this month, and what to do next.

THE DASHBOARD · READING THE SIGNAL·3 MIN READ

How it works

The “This month’s focus” card names one thing to look at for the scope you’re viewing. It’s either a pillar or one of the three culture questions, with its score.

If any culture question is in the lowest band, the lowest of those is chosen first. Otherwise it’s the group’s lowest pillar. When scores are close together, the card offers it as a suggestion rather than calling it the lowest.

Step by step

1Open Dashboard and choose your scope. Pick a department to see that department’s focus.
2Read the focus card and its score.
3Tap “Open the session” for a session from the library built for it.
4Run it with your team, then tap “Log growth work”.
5Next month, check Signal shift to see what moved.

Good to know

The card always names something, even in a good month. Treat it as a starting point.

It’s based on group averages only, never on any one person’s answers.

To compare departments side by side, use Teams.

WHAT YOU SEE

Results for groups of five or more, never a person’s answers.
