Accessibility

Using nørma with a screen reader, larger text, less motion and captions.

THE APP · HELP AND ACCESS1 MIN READUPDATED 13 OCT 2026

How it works

nørma follows the accessibility settings on your phone. Its controls carry labels for screen readers such as VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android. Text follows your phone’s text size, and nørma’s looping animations stay still when you turn on reduce motion.

The growth journey films have captions built into the picture. In Reflect you can type instead of speaking. If you do speak, your words are turned into text you can read, and “Fix a word” lets you correct it.

Step by step

  1. To use a screen reader, turn on VoiceOver or TalkBack in your phone’s accessibility settings.
  2. To make text bigger, change the text size in your phone’s settings.
  3. To calm movement, turn on reduce motion, or remove animations on Android.
  4. In Reflect, type your reflection if speaking doesn’t suit you.

Good to know

At the largest text sizes, some screens need scrolling to see everything.

Check-in answers are always the same four buttons: No, Not really, Mostly and Yes.

If something in nørma doesn’t work with your setup, tell your organisation’s nørma administrator so they can pass it on.

Still need a hand?

Your organisation’s administrator can help with your account, invitations and anything about how nørma works where you are.
