Languages

nørma is in English today. What that means if you write in another language.

THE APP · HELP AND ACCESS1 MIN READUPDATED 13 OCT 2026

How it works

nørma is in English today, written with Australian spelling. That covers the app, the check-in questions, the growth journeys and their films, and the dashboard leaders use. There’s no setting to change the language.

You can write a reflection in whatever words come naturally. One thing to know: nørma checks reflections for words that suggest someone may be at risk, and that check looks for English words and phrases. In another language it may not pick them up.

Step by step

  1. If you need to talk to someone now, open You and tap “Support” for people to talk to in your region.
  2. Check “At work” on the same screen for support your organisation offers, such as an Employee Assistance Program.

Good to know

Don’t rely on a reflection to get help in a crisis, in any language. Call someone directly.

If your organisation needs nørma in another language, your organisation’s nørma administrator can raise it with the nørma team.

Still need a hand?

Your organisation’s administrator can help with your account, invitations and anything about how nørma works where you are.

Need someone to talk to now? See When you need more support.
