Who can see my reflections
Not your employer or manager. An AI writes your mirror.
How it works
Your employer, your manager and your organisation’s nørma administrators have no way to open your reflections, written or spoken. Recordings are stored encrypted in Australia; the AI may process text overseas. Nobody where you work can play your recordings.
Yes, an AI service reads your reflections. To write your mirror and pick out themes, the text goes to our AI provider, Anthropic, without your name, email or organisation. A small number of named nørma engineers can reach the systems that hold your data, only for operations and support, under access controls. Nobody reads your reflections as a matter of course.
Step by step
- When you save, your reflection and any recording are stored in your account.
- The text, without your name, goes to the AI service with your latest check-in answers to write your mirror and note themes.
- A theme label, such as a topic you mentioned, may count for your team and groups above it. Your words never go to your organisation.
- Your recording is kept in your account so you can play it back. Nobody where you work can play it.
Good to know
The AI gets your reflection as given, plus your latest check-in answers. If you’d rather a name or detail didn’t leave your phone, leave it out.
If you delete your account, your reflections and recordings are erased after 30 days.
Before your first reflection, nørma shows you a short notice about the AI. You can say “Not now” and come back to it.
Nobody where you work can read your entries. Your answers and habits reach them only inside group figures, never with your name.
