Reminders and notifications
Choose when nørma nudges you, or turn reminders off.
How it works
You decide how often nørma gets in touch. Everything lives under You, in “Preferences”: a reminder when your check-in opens, how often you get nudges, a daily gratitude reminder, and a switch to pause the lot.
Notifications are occasional: your check-in being open, a gentle nudge such as “How are you, really?”, a habit or step you’ve set, or the gratitude reminder.
Step by step
- Open the You tab and tap “Preferences”.
- Turn “Remind me when the window opens” on or off for your monthly check-in.
- Under “How often can nørma send you nudges?”, choose Daily, Weekly or Off. Check-in reminders still come.
- Turn the “Gratitude reminder” on or off. It starts at 20:30 your time. Tap “Remind me at” to change it, then “Save time”.
- To stop everything for a while, turn on “Pause everything”.
Good to know
“Pause everything” stops reminders and nudges until you switch it back on. Nothing else changes: your entries and your progress stay as they are.
Your phone’s own settings still apply. If notifications for nørma are off on your phone, you won’t get any, whatever you choose in the app.
nørma emails you the day your organisation’s check-in opens, and the day before if nudges are Daily or Weekly. “Pause everything” stops these emails too.
Nobody where you work can read your entries. Your answers and habits reach them only inside group figures, never with your name.
