Questions from HR and procurement
The questions HR, IT, legal and procurement ask most, answered in one place.
How it works
This page answers what buyers ask most. For price, contract terms, a data processing agreement or a rollout plan, talk to your nørma contact.
Good to know
Is nørma clinical? No. It supports wellbeing day to day. It doesn’t diagnose or treat anything, it isn’t therapy and it isn’t a crisis service. The app lists crisis lines and any support you add, such as your EAP.
What does IT need to do? Very little. You add people by invitation or CSV import. Single sign-on is optional and AOH sets it up. Employees use the phone app. Leaders and admins use the dashboard in a browser.
Do employees pay? No. They’re never asked for payment in the app.
Can we make it compulsory? There’s no feature for that, and the dashboard never lists who has or hasn’t checked in.
What can we see? Group figures and theme labels for groups at or above your organisation’s minimum size, never a name against an answer. See “How nørma protects anonymity”.
Where is data stored? In Australia, encrypted. Reflection text is processed by a third-party AI outside Australia. See “Security, data residency and sub-processors”.
Where are the privacy policy and terms? Employees can read the “Privacy policy” and “Terms of use” in the app, under You, then “Privacy & data”.
Which languages? English only, for now.
Is there a psychosocial hazard register? Not yet. See “Work Check”.
