Growth work
Run a session from the library and log it against the signal.
How it works
Growth work is what leaders do in response to the signal: a conversation, a session, a change to how the team works. The page shows this month’s question, “Suggested for this scope”, what’s running, programs (admins only), and the library.
Each month nørma asks, “What have you actioned this month for your team?”. Logging growth work against a pillar is what lets you check later, in Signal shift, whether things moved.
Step by step
- Open Growth work.
- Choose something from “Suggested for this scope” or The library.
- Run it with your team.
- Log it: “What signal prompted this?”, “Target pillar”, “What prompted this?” and “Duration (minutes)”. Leaders can also tick “Share this with your team”.
- Update its status in the nørma app: Committed, Completed or Skipped.
Good to know
Growth work logs stay yours; leaders above you and admins read your answers to “What have you actioned this month for your team?”. If you tick “Share this with your team”, your team sees the work and its pillar, without your name.
Keep logs and your monthly answer factual and about the team. Don’t name individuals or record what someone said.
Every log is dated, so it becomes part of your evidence trail.
Group figures only, never a person’s answers. Groups below your organisation’s minimum never show, and in a small group a figure can rest on one answer.
