Sign-in and SSO
Single sign-on, set up by AOH.
How it works
People can sign in with a password they set from their invitation, or with your organisation’s own work accounts through single sign-on (SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect). Either way, they type their work email and nørma sends them to the right sign-in page.
Single sign-on is set up by AOH. There are no SSO settings in the dashboard; ignore the “Okta SSO” placeholder on the Integrations page. Once AOH connects single sign-on, everyone is sent to your organisation’s sign-in page, so agree a switch-over time first.
Step by step
- Ask your nørma contact to set up single sign-on.
- Your IT team provides your identity provider’s details for SAML or OpenID Connect.
- Agree a switch-over time, then AOH connects it. Test it with one person straight away.
- New invitations then tell people there’s no password to set.
Good to know
You don’t need an IT integration to use nørma. It runs on its own: you add people by invitation or CSV import, and single sign-on is optional.
Connections to HR systems and other tools are listed on the Integrations page. Most show “Not built yet”, so a CSV import is the way to load your roster for now.
When someone leaves, also use “Remove access” on the People page.
